So this week is my birthday. In addition to getting one year older, I also got a brand new tablet from my lovely husband. It's one of these guys: [link] and it is quite the upgrade from my previous much-loved version. I've played with it some in Photoshop (see the sunflower doodle in my gallery) but I haven't had time yet to see how it feels with Flash and Illustrator, and I do want to see what it does with ArtRage and Painter as well. The handwriting features on vista are kinda useful when the tablet is blocking the the keyboard, but I think my hand would cramp up and fall off if I tried to write out everything I normally type. And that would mean no more drawing, so it's right out.

Speaking of drawing, I've finished the backdrop I was working on through the month of October. [link] are the results of that. I have a few more furniture elements planned, with the eventual possibility of adding characters and making a flat scene out of it.

And my other current projects include wedding invitation artwork, and/or assembly and program artwork for my little brother's wedding. Drab wants a puppy-corn to join his Mikage wallpaper. Photos of Trinity Church I just took today. Learning CSS. Portfolio.
